Terms of Use

Effective September 15, 2026 · Version 1.0

These Terms govern use of Curator, including browsing public artwork and venue information, creating an account, saving a collection, and submitting profile or artwork information.

Eligibility and Accounts

You may use Curator if you can form a binding agreement and comply with these Terms. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in information secure.

Account access may be required for saving artworks, managing artist or venue information, requesting elevated access, or submitting content.

Acceptable Use

Use Curator lawfully and respectfully. Do not submit deceptive, abusive, infringing, harmful, or security-compromising content, and do not interfere with the service or other users.

Do not use Curator to impersonate another person or organization, misrepresent your relationship to an artist or venue, scrape the service at unreasonable volume, or attempt to bypass access controls.

User-Submitted Content

You are responsible for text, images, profile details, venue information, artwork information, and other material you submit. Submit only content that you have the right to share.

By submitting content, you give Curator permission to host, display, format, and use that content as needed to operate, improve, and promote the service.

Profiles, Venues, Artists, and Public Artwork Information

Curator may display public information about artworks, exhibitions, artists, venues, and cultural locations. Some information may come from users, managers, public sources, or Curator review.

Venue-submitted artist attribution helps describe what is on view, but it is not the same as verified artist ownership or management. Curator may correct, limit, or remove information when concerns are raised.

Intellectual Property

Curator and its product design, software, branding, and service content are owned by Curator or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of Curator intellectual property.

Artists, venues, users, and rights holders retain whatever rights they hold in their own content. Curator respects correction and removal requests through the contact path below.

Moderation and Removal

Curator may review, edit, unpublish, remove, or decline content when we believe it is inaccurate, unlawful, infringing, unsafe, abusive, misleading, outside product scope, or inconsistent with these Terms.

We may also limit or suspend account access for misuse, repeated problematic submissions, rights violations, security risk, or other behavior that harms Curator or its community.

Disclaimers and Limits

Curator is provided as a service and may change, pause, or be unavailable from time to time. We do not guarantee that all artwork, venue, exhibit, location, or attribution information is complete or error-free.

To the extent permitted by law, Curator is provided without warranties, and Curator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as Curator evolves. When the current Terms version changes, authenticated users may be asked to review and accept the updated version before continuing with account experiences.
